AUBURN – The Central Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires will be conducting a rules clinic for anyone interested in becoming an approved umpire.

The CMBABU covers Sagadahoc, Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin Counties. Levels of play include high school, junior high, American Legion, Babe Ruth, Senior Baseball (men’s league) and Cal Ripken. Veteran officials are encouraged to attend to review the rules.

The clinics will be held at Edward Little High School in Room 46 under the gym, on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. on Feb. 24 and March 3 and 10. The sessions will last for 2 hours. Rule books will be available at $7, and case books (optional) can be procured for $7.
