FARMINGTON – Lilly arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter on March 18, 2006. She arrived as an 8-month-old kitten and had lots of personality.

Here at the shelter she is called a “sidekick.” Like all sidekicks, she is good company. Lilly likes attention and would love to help anyone with homework or computer work. Lilly also likes to help finish a plate after supper.

She doesn’t go looking for trouble, but usually it finds her. She would also like to instruct anyone to buy lots of McDonald’s items for her convenience. So, anyone looking for a steady companion and with a fast food appetite should look no further.

Because staff is getting ready to celebrate Lilly’s one-year anniversary, her adoption fee is waived so she can find a good home.

Dogs at the shelter include a shepherd/rotti mix named Rusty, a boxer named Willy, a hound mix named Ella and a German shepherd named Bear.

February is coming to an end and so is this month’s flavor of “cookies and cream.” Anyone looking for a black and white cat can adopt one for $35. The cats are up-to-date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, defleaed and dewormed. For more information, call 778-2638.
