Each month Bruce M. Whittier Middle School will choose students of the month. One boy and girl from 7th and 8th grade will be pronounced student of the month. Honored students for the 7th grade were Jennifer Powell and Trevor Morin. January selections for the 8th grade were Jeff Hayes and Shannon Brienza.

Jennifer Powell said, “Student of the month is cool. To be student of the month be on time, be prepared, get your work done, and stay on task.”

Trevor Morin another 7th grade representative said, “It is different, and it is cool to get recognized for what I do. Student of the month is being organized, nice, getting work done, and being a responsible role model.”

Students were rewarded with tickets to any Lewiston MAINEiacs game they would like. Everyone at Bruce M. Whittier Middle School would like to congratulate our students and thank them for their hard work.
