On Thurs., Feb. 1 the Trinity Catholic eighth graders went to St. Dominic Regional High School for a Physical Fitness Day. Among the activities was an educational stretching demonstration, basketball relays, volleyball round robin games, and a whiffeball scrimmage. We were taught many important things, like how to correctly check our pulse and to stretch before activities. “We also were reminded of the quality of teamwork and the importance of physical fitness.”
After our exercises, we were treated to a healthy lunch in the St. Dom’s cafeteria, which showed us that eating healthy is important and gives us the energy we need as growing children. It was a great learning experience and also very fun.
