A spaghetti supper will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Main Street. Tickets are $5 each and raffle tickets are $1each or six or $5. Those who can’t attend and would like to contribute can drop them off at the Livermore Town Office or mail them to Bonnie Roy Benefit, 1 Crash Road, Livermore, ME 04253. Long Green Variety in Livermore is collecting bottles at its redemption center. The store will also donate 25 percent of its deli purchases when customers present a coupon, which is available at the town office. Dube’s Redemption in Jay is also collecting bottles throughout February and March.

Brettun’s Variety in Livermore is selling hearts for a dollar. Those wishing may put a message on them and they will be presented to Roy in the hospital. Small round pins carrying Roy’s photo and the cancer logo are also being sold at the town office for $1.

Physicians have discovered that Roy has a blockage in her small intestine and a spot on her kidney. She is undergoing chemotherapy intravenously around the clock. Roy and her husband, Roger, own and operate R&B Meats, Route 4, Livermore. Their store has been closed during her treatment.
