PORTLAND – Marla Kathryn Zando and Kenneth Paul Fengler were married on Sept. 22 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland by the the Rev. Monsignor Paul F. Stefanko. The reception was held at Camp Ketcha in Scarborough.

The bride is the daughter of Olivette and Philip Zando of Auburn. The bridegroom is the son of Wallace Fengler and the late Sylvia Fengler, both of Scarborough.

The maid of honor was Larissa Zando, and the matron of honor was Nicole Anderson. The bridesmaids were Heather Shea and Tamara Richman.

The best man was Keith Fengler. The groomsmen were George Blomquist, Mark Nielsen and Matthew Zando. The ring bearer was Benjamin Anderson.

The bride is a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn, the University of Maine in Orono and the University of Vermont in Burlington. She currently works for the Friends of Casco Bay and the Scarborough Land Conservation Trust.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Scarborough High School and the University of Maine in Orono. He is self-employed in the landscaping industry.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Europe, and they currently reside in Scarborough.
