AUBURN – Temple Shalom Nursery School will accept advanced registration for the 2007-2008 school year starting Monday, March 5. Temple Shalom Nursery School offers an open classroom environment providing free play, structured activities and field trips throughout the year.

The morning session meets from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. “Flex-time” programming will allow children the option of attending two (Tuesday and Thursday), three (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or five (Monday through Friday) mornings a week.

An extended hours program is available for three mornings a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The program will begin at 8 a.m. for early drop-off and conclude at 2 p.m. each day.

While the regular program will remain the same, from 9 a.m. to noon, the extended hours will allow for lunch (provided by parents), rest time, computer games and table games as a relaxed end to a busy day.

Inquiries and visits to the nursery school are welcome and encouraged. Temple Shalom has offered the program for children in the greater Lewiston-Auburn are for more than 35 years.

Temple Shalom Nursery School has a non-denominational enrollment, open to children of all faiths, and is located at 74 Bradman St. Temple Shalom is a nonprofit organization.
