Win meals
MEXICO – Guests attending the roast pork dinner on March 11 at the Congregational Church were invited to place their names in a drawing for a free dinner at next month’s public supper. The winners were Ronald Ester and Martha Kelley. The next public supper at the Green Church will be Saturday, April 14, with chicken pie served.
Buffet lunch
ANDOVER – Service Circle will hold a fundraising buffet lunch on Saturday, March 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Town Hall. Cost is $5 a person. There will be homemade chowders, stews, chilies, corn bread, muffins, biscuits and desserts.
St. Pat’s dinner
CANTON – A St. Patrick’s Day dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the Municipal Building, Route 108. Cost is $7 a person; seniors and under 12, $4. The menu will include a corned beef boiled dinner and/or turkey pie, rolls and dessert.
Take-outs and home delivery will be available. For home deliveries call by 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17: Jolene, 597-2168; Jackie, 597-2694; Sherri, 597-2019. It is sponsored by Canton Cruisers Relay for Life Team-American Cancer Society.
No hearing
UPTON – There will not be a public hearing at 6 p.m. tonight on a permit for a marina.
