The letter by William Gibson (March 12) hit the nail smack on the head.
The steady diet of Cal Thomas and Rich Lowry is no longer interesting reading. They address 49 percent of the population, and in the Lewiston-Auburn Democratic stronghold, the percentage is much lower for sure.
The Sunday editorial page “Perspective” used to be excellent reading for views on both sides of the political scene, as well as independents. To sit with my second cup of coffee and with “Perspective” was a highlight of the day. Today, it’s a waste of time. If it weren’t for the “Letters to the editor,” there would be nothing left.
I am not interested in reforming your newspaper. I just wish you would print more balanced views.
