FARMINGTON – The University of Maine System Board of Trustees will meet March 18 and 19 at the University of Maine at Farmington.

Sunday’s session begins at 1:30 p.m. in North Dining Hall of Olsen Student Center. The board will appoint a trustee committee to nominate a chairman and vice chairman and hear an update on student enrollments for the spring of 2007.

The board will then go into executive session to discuss tenures, appointments, honorary degree nominations and board policy on labor relations as well as faculty and student representative meetings.

Trustees will tour the new Education Center at UMF following the Sunday sessions.

On Monday, trustees will begin at 8 a.m. and hear updates on the campus climate for students with disabilities, the residential hall sprinkler system project and the change in the computer system prior to an executive session to discuss personnel and collective bargaining issues.
