FARMINGTON – Gary and Jean Downs of Farmington are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Downs of Portland, to Antonio Caiazzo II of Portland, son of Victoria Spaltro and Antonio Caiazzo of Westbrook.

The future bride is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Maine at Orono. She is employed at Maine Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Gorham High School and is employed at Foreside Management Company. He is also currently attending Southern Maine Community College.

The wedding will be held in late August at the Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford.
