Lodge meeting
AUBURN – Tranquil Lodge 29, AF and AM, will have a special meeting on Wednesday, March 21, at the lodge hall, 1021 Turner St., for the purpose of conferring the Master Mason degree on two candidates. There will be a supper at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7:30. All Master Masons are welcome.
Grange program
AUBURN – Members of Danville Junction Grange will meet on Thursday, March 22, at the Grange Hall. The program, which will begin at 7 p.m., will feature Patrick Moynihan, Maine Department of Health and Human Services, who will give a talk on “Elder Abuse.” The public is invited to attend the half-hour lecture. After the program, a business meeting will be conducted followed by refreshments. All members are invited.
Look good
LEWISTON – “Look Good … Feel Better,” the American Cancer Society’s program for assisting women who are faced with appearance changes resulting from cancer treatment, will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 21, at Central Maine Medical Center’s Sam and Jennie Bennett Breast Care Center, 12 High Street, Suite 103.

Kiwanis speaker
LEWISTON – Wendy Berube-Gamache of Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care will be the featured speaker for the Auburn Lewiston Kiwanis Club noon luncheon on Wednesday, March 21, at the Ramada Inn.
Head Start is a program for children and their families, providing pre-school and child care services, education, nutrition and support for families.

Benefit supper
LEWISTON – The Holy Cross Council 12652, Knights of Columbus, and the Walton School PTO will have a spaghetti supper to benefit 1-year-old Jillian Dumais, suffering from cancer, from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the Holy Cross Church Hall, 1080 Lisbon St. Cost is $5 a person; $3, age 12 and under. Basket Bingo
TURNER – Basket Bingo will be held on Sunday, April 1, at the BQMC, Route 219, North Turner. All proceeds will benefit the Turner Community Playground Project
