PARIS – The last lecture in the 10th Anniversary Winter Lecture Series will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the McLaughlin Historical Home, South Paris. Beverly Hendricks, Deerwood Farm and Gardens, will discuss “Day Lilies.” The program is free and open to the public.

Tuesday meeting

BETHEL – A regional town meeting focusing on the Brooking Report will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the Bethel Inn Conference Center. The public is invited.

Programs on China

PARIS – Two more programs on China for children will be offered at Norway and South Paris public libraries.

Friday March 23 at 12:45 p.m., “Ma Jong and More! An Afternoon of Games from China” will be presented at Norway Memorial Library. Space is limited. Call ahead at 743-5308 to register.

Saturday, March 24, at 1 p.m. “Pandas, Tigers and the Year of the Pig” will be offered to children preschool through elementary age at Paris Public Library. Books, crafts and activities will help children (and parents) learn about the animals of China, wild and domestic (and some endangered) Call 743-6994 for more information and to register.

The children’s programs are being offered as part of One Book One Community, which Oxford Hills Libraries are participating in throughout March.
