Camp Kirkwold in Readfield, and Camp Pondicherry in Bridgton, are for girls 8 to 17 and offer arts and crafts, nature exploration, sports and games, camping skills and canoeing instruction.
The camps also provide American Red Cross swimming lessons and have a new counselor-in-training program. Camp Scelkit’s sessions are open to girls 12 and older. Located on Gerrish Island, Kittery Point, all programs include traditional camp activities and provide opportunities for girls to build group living skills in the outdoors.
