LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a burglary that left the inside of a house on Strickland Loop, off Route 106, trashed Tuesday night. Police estimated that $2,000 damage was done.

An occupant of the house left for work at 6 p.m. and returned to find dishes broken, a table smashed, furniture upended, a television thrown on the ground and a vehicle in the dooryard also damaged, police Lt. Thomas Gould said Wednesday.

“The place was entered and trashed,” Gould said.

Nobody was home at the time of the incident, he said.

“We do have suspects in the case and some leads,” he said.

The suspects do not include anyone who lives at the house, he said.

He estimated $1,000 damage inside the house and $1,000 damage done to the vehicle.
