PARIS – The annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser in the Oxford Hills Community will be held on Saturday, April 7, at Hobbs Lucky Lanes, Route 26, South Paris.

This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Child Health Center’s Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.

Bowl For Kids’ Sake is an event in which sponsors and bowlers raise funds needed to match local children with a Big Brother or Big Sister in area towns.

Big Brothers Big Sisters encourages anyone interested in helping to make a difference in the life of a child to organize, join or sponsor a bowling team.

To form a team, people should gather four who are willing to bowl and raise contributions. The contributions will help support more than a hundred Big Brother Big Sister mentoring matches in the Oxford Hills community.

The event will feature prizes and awards for team participants, including a grand prize drawing.

For every $100 a bowlers raises, he will have the opportunity to enter the grand prize drawing and become eligible to win a 42-inch plasma TV.

Many area businesses provide support Bowl for Kids’ Sake in levels from $100 to $3,000 in cash or in-kind contributions.
