LISBON – Lisbon and Lisbon Falls firefighters were expected to conduct a hands-on fire-training exercise early today. In the controlled burn, weather permitting, the former home of a well-known Lisbon developer, Walter Huston, will be destroyed. The large old farmhouse, adjacent to Mid-Town Shopping Center, is being razed in order to construct an Aubuchon Hardware store.
