LEWISTON – Robert and Susan Stomski of Jamaica, Vt., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa S. Stomski of Hartford, Conn., to Scott M. Wise of Hartford, Conn., son of Marianne Wise of Lewiston and Michael Wise of Kissimmee, Fla.

The future bride is a 2002 graduate of Leland and Gray Union High School in Townsend, Vt., and attended Keene State College in Keene, N.H. She is currently employed at Allstate Insurance Company claims office in Farmington, Conn.

The future bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Hartford with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently working on his master’s degree in mechanical engineering, and is employed as a project engineer at Wiremold/Legrand in W. Hartford, Conn.

Mr. Wise proposed to Miss Stomski on May 18 at sunset at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. The wedding will be held on Aug. 11 in Jamaica, Vt.
