LEWISTON – Janet McCarthy, Realty, made it a clean sweep of the B-1 Division of the Lewiston Rec Coed Volleyball League at the Multi-Purpose Center Thursday. The Realtors annexed the post-season championship to the regular season pennant.

But it wasn’t easy.The Realtors defeated Spiked & Dangerous (2), 17-21, 21-16, 21-11, to advance to the finals. The Spikers came back to eliminate Fontaine Team (3), 13-21, 22-20, 25-24.

That set up the finals, with Spiked & Dangerous needing 2 wins over the Realtors to claim the title. The Spikers won the first match, 21-10, 21-17, to set up the second and deciding match. This time the Realtors prevailed, 15-21, 22-20, 24-22.
