CONCORD, N.H. – Gretchen L. Jones, a shareholder and director of the Auburn law firm Skelton, Taintor & Abbott, was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar on March 20.

Chief Justice John T. Broderick Jr. of the New Hampshire Supreme Court conducted the admission ceremony, accompanied by his colleagues on the bench at the Supreme Court in Concord. New Hampshire Bar Association President Richard B. McNamara also welcomed the newly admitted New Hampshire attorneys.

Jones, whose practice is focused on business and financial institution law, represents clients throughout Maine. Her admission to the New Hampshire Bar will enable the firm to represent clients in that state. Skelton, Taintor & Abbott attorneys are now licensed to practice in all northern New England states, as well as Massachusetts and New York.

A graduate of Bowdoin College and the University of Maine School of Law, Jones is vice chairman of the Maine Bar Association’s Consumer and Financial Institution Law Section, a member of the Androscoggin County Bar Association, and serves on the board of directors of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce.
