A man was shot several times on Angell Street just outside Franklin Park. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center and police did not know his condition, Boston Police spokesman Eddy Chrispin said.
A 9-1-1 caller gave a description of the shooter as a tall, skinny man wearing a dark black or gray hooded sweatshirt, Chrispin said.
On Friday, two people were fatally shot in Dorchester.
Dwayne Graham, 18, of Hyde Park died Saturday evening after he was struck by gunfire Friday afternoon on a crowded MBTA bus at Washington St. and Columbia Rd.
Another man was shot and killed as he tried to escape the assault by hiding under a car on McLellan St.
Last weekend, a woman visiting Boston was caught in the middle of a gunfight while waiting inside a car on a Dorchester street after a late-night party. She was buried on Saturday in her hometown of Danville, Ky.
