LIVERMORE FALLS – Linda Leonard Hughes is the featured artist at the Androscoggin Bank Gallery at 38 Main St. Hughes lives in Livermore Falls and belongs to Maine and Florida art associations

Hughes descends from an early New England family that has influenced her painting career since a young child. In school she majored in art and was encouraged by other creative artists’ in the family. Several of them attended the Boston School of Art.

Hughes spent a number of years in Florida for further enhancement of her talent and is now residing in Maine.

After mastering various mediums, she said she feels fortunate to have studied with a number of accomplished artists and teachers who have helped to make her an experienced painter.
