Potluck supper
HARTFORD – A Hartford community goodwill potluck supper will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 6, at the Town Hall, 1198 Main St. Those who plan to attend are asked to bring a dish to share. Organic gardening
BRYANT POND – The Whitman Memorial Library will feature guest speaker, Pat Verrill, at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 12. Verrill will talk about organic gardening. The program is open to the public free and light refreshments will be served.
Free workshop
PARIS – Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community will offer a free workshop, “Moving Through Fear,” from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 13, at the Western Maine University and Community College. For more information or to preregister, call 743-9322, ext. 301.

Planning meeting
HARTFORD – There will be a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the Hartford Community Church for all interested in helping with the annual Fancy Tea Party.
Planners will set the date, pick this year’s theme and color scheme and plan the silent auction.
