Snow continued falling in Farmington early Thursday morning. The overnight storm created a hat for this mailbox with slightly over 15 inches as the “unofficial” measure in the middle of this pile. Roads were covered and slippery with Farmington police reporting three cars sliding off the roads between 7 and 10 a.m. A Farmington firetruck slid onto the soft shoulder of Titcomb Hill Road when the truck moved to make room for a snow plow, said fire Chief Terry Bell. No major accidents were reported.

Tree limbs sagged under the weight of the approximate 15 inches that fell overnight. Although the winter scene in April was pretty, roads were not.
