GREENE – Larry and Diane Mathieu of Greene are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Brianna Jean Mathieu of Greene, to Richard Raymond Xavier Bourgeois of Mechanic Falls, son of Richard and Debra Bourgeois of Conway, N.H.

Miss Mathieu is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School in 2003 and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in new media with a minor in English at the University of Maine at Orono, and plans to graduate in the fall.

Mr. Bourgeois is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School in 2002 and received an associate degree in machine tool technology in 2004 from Central Maine Community College. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology at the University of Southern Maine and plans to graduate in the spring of 2008. He is employed at Maine Machine Products in South Paris.

The wedding is planned for August at Saints Peter and Paul Basilica in Lewiston.
