AUBURN – Lexis Clavet of Auburn was recently selected to participate in the National 2007 Miss Pre-Teen Portland Pageant that will take place on Sunday, April 22. Clavet submitted an application and took part in an interview conducted by Patty Neidert, Portland pageant coordinator.

Clavet will compete for more than $20,000 in prizes and specialty gifts. She will compete in the Miss Pre Teen division, one of three that will have girls between the ages of 10 and 19 competing in modeling routines, which include casual wear and formal wear.

Clavet will display her personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with the Portland judging panel.

If she were to win the title of Miss Pre Teen Portland, she would represent Portland and the surrounding communities at the Cities of America National Competition in Orlando, Fla.

Community businesses, organizations and individuals will assist Clavet by becoming sponsors. Anyone wishing to help may contact Neidert at 1-800-569-2487.
