Kennel club

SABATTUS – The Lewiston-Auburn Kennel Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at the Sabattus Town Hall.

The agenda will include the planning of several upcoming events and a review of the recent educational seminar.

Final exams

AUBURN – St. Dominic Regional High School will hold its final placement exam sitting on Saturday, April 28. All interested ninth-grade applicants must sit for the placement exam.

The results of the test help St. Dom’s to assess individual academic needs and place students where they can achieve success. The exam will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The fee is $15, due on the day of the exam. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m.

The school is still accepting applications for the 2007-2008 school year, and need-based tuition assistance is also available for incoming students. For more information, contact the admissions office at 782-6911, ext. 2110, or [email protected].

Spring auction

AUBURN – Fairview School will have its annual spring auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 28, to raise money for the intermediate team to fund field trips. The school is seeking donations of goods and services from local companies and individuals. Those interested should contact Stephanie Geer at Fairview School via e-mail [email protected] or call 784-3559. Everyone age 16 years and over is invited to attend the auction; admission is $5.
