FARMINGTON – Diamond arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter with a litter of kittens.

She was a wonderful mother and now all but one of her kittens has been adopted. Diamond has been around other cats and dogs and would do well with a family that wants a lot of attention.

Diamond will help with day-to-day chores or with a little down time. Staff said she loves women, and she will follow female staff around, brushing up against their legs. Staff said, “Just remember, Diamond is a girl’s best friend.”

The cat flavor of the month is cookies and cream. All adult black and white cats have an adoption fee of $35. For more information on Diamond or adoption, call 778-2638.

New dogs at the shelter include a male beagle from Jay and a mastiff pup.
