BETHEL – After nearly 19 years of service, Darlene Baker of Hanover will retire from Northeast Bank, where she has been a mainstay on the teller line at the bank’s 11 Main Street location.

A retirement open house to thank Baker for her years at Northeast and at the former Bethel Savings Bank will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, when customers and employees can bid farewell to her.

Her last day will be Friday, April 13. The public is invited to the open house.

Baker is best known for her talents in the kitchen, and for providing a wealth of treats on the monthly customer appreciation days.
