TOPSHAM – Flying Changes Center for Therapeutic Riding plans to offer three weekly sessions of summer horsemanship day camp for youngsters ages 8 to 18. Campers will ride, carriage drive and vault, as well as gain exposure to the work and responsibility of equine care.

Special activities may include visits from equine care professionals who will discuss health issues in greater depth and field trips to enrich knowledge of horsemanship.

Flying Changes instructors are experienced in working with children of all ages. They are also skilled horsewomen and compete in dressage, cross country and stadium jumping. The program works to strengthen the interaction of children and horses through the dynamic of human/animal bond.

The cost is $320 a week, with a $100 deposit due with registration . The schedule is as follows: Session 1, June 25 to 29, Session 2, July 9 to 13, Session 3, July 16 to 20, Campers may attend multiple sessions. For more information, contact Flying Changes Center at 729-0168 or [email protected].
