Rep. Timothy Carter, D-Bethel, welcomed the Keane family of Bethel to the State House recently. Molly Keane made the trip with her daughter, Caitlin, and her son, Matthew, who served as honorary pages for the day. Caitlin will return soon to the State House to sing the national anthem before the House of Representatives at the opening of a session day. Carter, far right, shares a bird’s eye view of the House chamber from the podium of the Speaker of the House with the Keane family. Matthew wields the Speaker’s gavel with Caitlin beside him and his mother, Molly, to the far left.
