TURNER – The wedding of Jaime Shaw and Andrew MacCaffray was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 16 on the beach at the Great Outdoors in Turner. Eben Shaw, brother of the bride and notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. MacCaffray is the daughter of Paul and Connie Shaw of Hartford and Pete and Judy Richmond of Phillips. Mr. MacCaffray is the son of Dan and Sandra MacCaffray of St. George and Karen Zola of Rockland.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ankle-length white gown, adorned with pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

Sarah Quinn, friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Dan Bachelder, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ring bearers were Oren and Blaine Shaw, nephews of the bride.

A reception followed at the Great Outdoors in Turner. The couple is planning a honeymoon at a later date. They are residing at Spruce Head.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. She is a fifth-grade teacher for MSAD 40.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Georges Valley High School and attended the University of Maine at Orono. He is self-employed at Clark Island Boat Works.
