Meeting rescheduled
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Kennel Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, Strawberry Avenue. The meeting replaces the Thursday, April 12, meeting canceled due to a snowstorm. All dog fanciers are invited.

LEWISTON – Dr. Lynette Fahnestock of Maine Cardiology Associates will explain what women can do to keep their heart healthy at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Resident Dining Room at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion. The session is free and open to the public. To register, call 753-5467.

LEWISTON – “Look Good … Feel Better,” the American Cancer Society’s program for assisting women who are faced with appearance changes resulting from cancer treatment, will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 18, at Central Maine Medical Center’s Sam and Jennie Bennett Breast Care Center, 12 High Street, Suite 103.

Class openings
AUBURN – There are still some spots open for two computer classes at Auburn Public Library.
HeritageQuest Online is for beginner or expert genealogy enthusiasts interested in learning how to tap into one of the largest collections of genealogy material in the country. The class will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 26.
Ready Set Take It Slow II, geared for beginners, provides a general overview of the World Wide Web and the Internet. The class will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2. Call 333-6640, ext. 4, to reserve a spot or e-mail Sally at [email protected].
OES to meet
LISBON FALLS – Pioneer Chapter 11, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the Ancient York Masonic Hall, Route 196. Members will honor past matrons and past patrons.
All members and visitors are asked to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the Sisters of Charity Food Pantry. Refreshments will follow the meeting. All members of the order are invited.
Habitat breakfast
AUBURN – The annual Habitat for Humanity breakfast will be held from 7:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 29, at St. Philip’s Church on Route 4. The menu will include scrambled eggs, crepes, sausage patties, strawberry, blueberry and maple syrup, homebaked muffins and breads, fruit cups and juice. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12. All proceeds will go to help build the next house in the community.
Trike-A-Thon reset
LEWISTON – The St. Jude’s Trike-A-Thon, scheduled for April 13, was canceled due to a winter parking ban. It has been re-scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, May 18, in the gym of the New Life Center at 134 College St.
