RUMFORD – There is still time to register for two workshops on community leadership being co-sponsored by Western Mountains Alliance and the Institute for Civic Leadership.

“How to Keep and Find Great Board Members” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 25, at River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St. Suzanne Austin of the Institute for Civic Leadership will be the presenter.

Nonprofit board members and executive staff will gain knowledge and tools to develop an effective process for recruiting, orienting and keeping board members engaged in their organizations.

“Harnessing the Energy of Inclusive, Effective Community Groups” will take place from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at River Valley Technology Center. Presenter will be Laura Moorehead of the Institute for Civic Leadership.

People engaged in challenging community groups will gain tools, skills and strategies for leading multi-interest groups in meeting the need of the community and its stakeholders.
