LOUISVILLE, Ky. – As president of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions, Paul Dionne, executive director of the Maine Workers’ Compensation Board, presided over the All Committee Conference recently held in Louisville, Ky.

Dionne, a former partner in the law firm of Dionne, Croteau and Gosselin, is a former mayor of Lewiston. A decorated Vietnam War veteran, he was a co-founder of the University of Maine Lewiston-Auburn campus.

Dionne also serves as chair of Central Maine Healthcare, the second-largest health care system in Maine, and is a director of CWM, a medical malpractice insurance company.

He was selected by Law Publishers as Maine’s Workers’ Compensation “Person of the Year” for 2004.

The IAIABC is a not-for-profit association representing most of the government agencies charged with the administration of workers’ compensation systems through the United States, Canada and other nations and territories.
