LEWISTON – “It’s Great to Be a Girl,” sponsored by Club W! at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, is all about women and a little girl in their lives. The event will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave.

This year’s theme is “everything is not always as it appears.” Mothers and their special girl will participate in art projects, crafts, dress up, goofy hair dos, face painting, a Madhatter’s tea party and story telling by Mama Goose.

They will be expected to bring a little girl currently in grades kindergarten through five. Participants are asked to dress comfortably. Light snacks will be served. The cost is $35 a pair.
