George F. Herrick Sr., 91, was honored in recognition of 63 years of continuous membership in the American Legion family. Herrick was one of a few who made up Anderson/Staples Post 112, Oxford, in 1951 and he a past commander. Herrick will serve as grand marshal at the Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 28.
