FARMINGTON – Pepper has grown up at the Franklin County Animal Shelter. Once a baby, he is now a gentle giant.

Staff said the big cat is not even a year old yet, and he will grow a little more before time runs out. He can be found basking in the sun, rolling on his back for a belly rub or curled up for a nap with another cat. Pepper would be great in any home.

New dogs at the shelter include a male husky/shepherd mix and a male yellow lab mix.
