PARIS – The Paris Department of Parks and Recreation has announced a partnership with the Paris Hill Country Club for a summer junior golf program, geared to ages 6 to 14 at the Paris Hill Country Club.

Mike Cloutier, director of golf, will offer two sessions of instruction, one from June 25 to 28 and the other from July 9 to 12. Both will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

Each day Cloutier and his assistants will focus on a different aspect of the game. The player to instructor ratio will not exceed nine to one. Participants will also receive a complimentary membership at Paris Hill Country Club from the Friday after their first session through the end of the 2007 golf season.

Registration fee for Paris residents is $40 a session or $55 if signed up for both at once. Non-Paris residents will pay a $10 surcharge to register. Registration forms are available at the Paris Town Office from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Payment is due at the time of registration. A special evening of registration will also be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Paris Town Office. For more information, call Kelsey Jewell, director, at 743-2501, ext. 107.
