Photo program

FALMOUTH – South Freeport resident Roger Richmond will present his three-dimensional close-up photographs of Maine wildlife at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 30, at Gilsland Farm Audubon Center.

Projected on a special screen and viewed through 3-D glasses (supplied), Richmond’s images of plants and animals from a typical Maine back yard and varied habitats from all over the world reveal a level of nature normally beyond perception.

Richmond is an architect, a design consultant and partner in SpaceTherapy, and professor of architecture in the BA program he helped create at the University of Maine at Augusta.

Specializing in nature macro 3-D photography, he has been a 3-D photographer for more than 20 years and has given 3-D photographic presentations to public schools and other public and private organizations.

From 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. there will be a free potluck open to the public. Those interested should bring a side dish, salad or dessert. For more information on this or other Maine Audubon programs, call 781-2330.
