This is regarding Cal Thomas’ column on Saturday, April 21. His notion – becoming quite popular in the right-wing media – that arming everyone makes everyone safer is insane. Somehow college kids packing heat and having a gunfight in a college building as an appropriate response, or the potential of one as a possible deterrent, is just beyond comprehension.
