Reception

RUMFORD – The May First-Friday reception at the Pennacook Art Center will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 4. The theme is a one-year birthday celebration. Don Kerr will be drawing caricatures. The Pennacook Art Center is located at 82 Congress St.

Seniors to meet

BETHEL – Bethel Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Alder River Grange Hall, East Bethel. Cost for lunch is $7. Guest speaker will be Tineki Ouwinga.

Bowling results

RUMFORD – The Sunday Wonders bowling team finished their season. Winner of the second half were: Capt. Karen Fitzherbert, second Donna Cunningham, third Patty Blaisell, fourth Tracy Virgin. Awards will be given Saturday, May 5, at the River Valley Grill.
