Workers from Castonguay Logging and Excavating of Livermore Falls remove debris Monday from what remains of the Goding homestead at the corner of routes 133 and 17 in Livermore Falls. Carl Goding, co-owner of the house, said he believed the house and the attached barn that were torn down Saturday were built in the 1800s. His parents bought the property in 1937 and there were at least two owners before them that he knows about, Goding said Monday as he watched the remainder of his family home be cleared away. His sister, Mildred, plans to build a new house at the site in the future.
