AUBURN – Students at Edward Little High School will present a band concert from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, May 11, at American Legion Hall, 426 Washington St. Proceeds will benefit Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity.
The acts booked so far include solo performances by Ryan Nolan and Brandon DeSilva and bands Aces Wild, Colourful Like Me and Against the Grain.
This will be the second such concert by students to benefit Androscoggin Habitat. The first, in June 2005, raised more than $1,000. “Students who arranged that concert were interested in doing it again,” said Jen LaLiberte. She and fellow faculty member Shawn Rice are advising the group.
The American Legion is donating use of the hall for the event.
Tickets may be purchased for $5 from students or the two faculty members, or will be $7 at the door.
