FARMINGTON – Franklin County Animal Shelter staff said Wynona is a cat who does everything in a big way. She not only like to be in the middle of things, she likes to lead the parade.

Wynona is in the weight watchers club, staff said. This spring the adoption fee for the pleasantly plump cats that need to lose a few pounds is $35.

The shelter will host a kitten shower from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20, and all are welcome. Those who would like to make a donation may send it to 550 Industry Road, Farmington, ME 04938. For more information, call 778-2638.
