Dear Sun Spots: Clover Manor will be celebrating Hawaiian Week from June 4 through June 8. We are looking for anyone that would like to share their trip or dance or music with our elders. Please call Jim at Clover 784-3573, ext. 134, if you can help us out. Looking forward to hearing from column readers out there. – Clover Activities, Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: I am overrun with clothing catalogs. Before I take them to the dump, are there any groups who can use them for crafts, or other purposes? If so, please call 926-5315. Thank you! – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: We have a computer we would like to donate to anyone who can use it. It would be good for parts. It does not have a monitor. It’s a Packard Bell. It’s free. Please contact 782-1722; we will be happy to answer any questions. If we don’t hear anything in a week, we’ll throw it out, so please hurry and call and help us with our cleanup. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I was wondering if you could help me?

I bought a water cooler at BJs for my home. It has both hot and cold temperatures on it. I see they no longer carry them but here’s my problem – I can’t find the water bottle or the filter that goes with this anywhere! It’s made by Brita and is a floor model. The filter inside says Elky on it. It was an expensive cooler, and hope Sun Spots or column readers might be able to assist me here. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
In addition to responses from readers, try checking out their Web site at www.brita.com or contacting the company through their headquarters at Brita LP, 1221 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612.

Dear Sun Spots: I am searching for Moosehead end tables. I am hoping that someone might have these tables and would like to sell them. I can be reached at 782-8099. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
If you are referring to the Maine company Moosehead Manufacturing, based in Monson, according the company Web site, you may find their furniture sold locally at FX Marcotte in Lewiston, Stanley Furniture Mart in Rumford and the Furniture Superstore in Lisbon. There is a factory outlet store in Dover-Foxcroft.

You may reach the company directly at P.O. Box 287, Monson, ME 04464, 997-3621 or via their Web site at www.mooseheadfurniture.com. They are open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

In addition, Sun Spots also located a Moosehead Log and Rail Furniture Company based in South Dakota. You can reach them online at www.logdreams.com. For orders, contact them via phone at 800-426-5647.

Dear Sun Spots: I am hoping the person attending the Woman’s Literary Union Mother-Daughter, Doll Tea on April 28, will read this and call to claim the items she left behind. She purchased several pieces of clothing for her dolls from the Doll Boutique and we want her to have the items she purchased. Please call Evelyn at 783-8355 to identify them.

Thanks for all that you do for the Sun Journal readership. – C.W., Lewiston.
