PORTLAND – The Portland Sea Dogs committed four errors for the second straight day and suffered their third straight loss to Binghamton, 11-7, on Saturday afternoon at Hadlock Field.

Marcos Carvajal (1-2) earned his first victory of the season for the Mets (12-20). The right-handed pitcher allowed all four of his runs in the fourth inning on five hits.

The Mets added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings off relief pitcher Chris Smith and scored three runs off Lincoln Holdzkom in the seventh.

Daniel Haigwood (0-1) took his first loss in the Red Sox organization, surrendering five hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings. Haigwood recorded eight strikeouts, but allowed home runs to Caleb Stewart and Brett Harper. Harper had three hits and three RBIs on the day.
