I recently moved away from Lewiston. It had nothing to do with the Somali people.

I read the comments following the story about the ham in the lunchroom incident. Did anyone ever consider that God sent the Somalis to Lewiston because there are a lot of people who need to learn a lesson in tolerance?

I had many friends that were Somali. I had more trouble with the locals.

If you treat everyone fairly, you shouldn’t have trouble with anyone.

There are a lot of good people of many different races living in Lewiston. The people who have a hard time accepting someone who is different need to learn tolerance the most.

People should think about that. Pray about it. But don’t complain, because, as the saying goes, “But for the grace of God, there go I.”
