LEWISTON – City Clerk Kathleen Montejo, a resident of Bowdoinham, was presented the Bill Diamond Award by the Maine Secretary of State’s Office at the Informed Notaries of Maine 14th annual Education Conference held in Bangor recently.

The award is given in honor of Diamond, a former Maine secretary of state and charter member of INM. The award honors an individual who has made significant contributions to INM.

An INM board member since 2004, Montejo has monitored and coordinated INM’s Web site with great integrity, according to the organization, and has been instrumental in helping INM reach its goals.

Montejo resides in Bowdoinham with her husband, Bill.
