BRUNSWICK – The wedding of Erika Gabrielle Johansen and Ryan Michael Evans McKenney was held on Oct. 8. Rosey Gerry officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. McKenney is the daughter of Robert and Susan Johansen of Brunswick. Mr. McKenney is the son of Neal and Diane McKenney of Poland.

The bride was given in marriage by Stephan Johansen. The man of honor was Scott Priest, friend, and bridesmaids were Nyssa Johansen, sister, and Ann Troicke, friend. Ellen Wright, sister, was flower girl.

Best woman was Angie Belanger, friend, and ushers were Stephan Johansen, brother-in-law, and Megan McKenney, sister.

A reception followed at the Brunswick Golf Club, after which the couple went to the Old Port in Portland.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of Maine at Farmington. She is employed at MSAD 75.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington. He is a graduate student.
